Over the weekend I was reading one of my wife's tabloid magazines. This particular cover struck a chord with me and it may have done so with the many people who read the Article in "OK" Magazine. It cataloged poor Jessica's battle with her weight and how the media is really taking aim at her figure. The quote on the cover reads "I Will Lose 20 Pounds in 8 Weeks." Wow I said to myself maybe the article will explain how she will accomplish this task.What is Jessica Simpson's Diet Plan?
Well to our shock, well it really shouldn't be. The article did not map out Jessica's plan to lose the weight. It did however say that she will work with her personal trainers and I'm sure a dietician.
So the rest of us are left without a solution to our own way to look as fabulous as Jessica Simpson. Some of us probably said "Sure it's easy for her since she has personal trainers and someone to cook for her!"
Well not exactly, Jessica will still have to stop munching on the sweets, the after meal desserts she enjoys on a regular basis and she will have to get the gym. That is not an easy thing to do. Even for Jessica Simpson!
So what can you do to achieve your Hollywood body in 8 weeks?
- Drink plenty of water - At least 8 glasses a day.
- Swap your sugary snacks for fresh fruits or cheese.
- Increase you fiber intake- leafy green salads are good. They will also make you feel full without the extra calories. Watch the dressings though. They can be loaded with sugar and calories. Opt for balsamic vinegar it is only 25 calories per serving.
- Switch your white bread to whole grain bread. These have more fiber (make you feel full effect) and will provide you with quality complex carbohydrates.
- Choose lean ground turkey over ground beef.
Ok great you say. You may or may not have know these tips already but are looking for something more. You need a plan right, maybe some specially tailored recipes for you and a grocery list so there is no guessing.
